With the installation of SQL Server 2012 RC0, you will also find integrated “Help Viewer 1.1“. This is pretty much like MSDN help.

You can launch the Help viewer by following method.

Then you can click on Help manager.

You will see following dialog box where you can select your choice which is self-explanatory. I prefer “Install content from online”.

Then you will see dialog box with list of MS products’ documentations (Help) which can be downloaded to your local machine. This can be faster reference than the online version… of course.

Select your choice of subjects and click Add to mark for download. Click Update to start download. And enjoy your local help Its really good to have everything at one place … tidy.
